About Victoria Ying
Victoria Ying was raised in Southern California watching Disney Films and reading comic books. During Middle school she determined that she wanted a career in the arts, and after high school attended Art Center College of Design where she majored in Illustration with a minor in Entertainment Design. Determined to get into Disney, she worked first at Imagineering before transitioning to her current position at Disney Feature animation as a Visual Development artist. Her work has appeared in the film Tangled, Prep and Landing, and many other unannounced projects.
Little Known Fact: She loves visiting museums and seeing great collections of oceanic art!
Mentor Preferences
Victoria is hoping to find mentees that have their own unique vision and an open mind about different kinds of art along with a good work ethic. She’s hoping to help them jump to the next skill level and do portfolio revisions to prepare them for professional positions. In addition, Victoria is open to creating exercises tailored for her mentee if necessary.

Preferred Meeting Times: Week nights via skype if the student is not local. If they are local, lunch meetings during the week are preferred.
