About Lorelay Bové
Lorelay Bové from Spain, living in Los Angeles for 14 years. Graduated from Cal Arts in 2007, completing an internship at Pixar Animation Studios and an internship at the Disney Animation Studios. Lorelay Bové started in the visual development department in August 2007 at the Disney Animation Studios. She has worked on The Princess and the Frog doing visual development, color characters and costumes, including designing some of the film’s ingénue Charlotte’s dresses, plus props, backgrounds and end credit sequence art and designs. As well as in Prep and Landing, Tangled ,the Tangled short, Winnie the Pooh, The Ballad of Nessie, and recently working on Wreck-it Ralph. Bové has also illustrated the “Toy Story” picture book and “The Princess and the Frog” Little Golden Book. Has also contributed on The Sketchbooktravel, and on the Mary Blair exhibit in Tokyo.
Little Know Tidbit: Lorelay grew up watching “The Little Mermaid” and was thrilled to be working with the same directors. Lorelay likes to bake and cook, and wants to do a recipe book soon!
Lorelay is looking to give her mentees some general career and industry advice and help them with skill improvement. She is open to doing project-based assignments, portfolio revisions, and smaller skill based exercises as well.
