About Victoria Ying
Victoria Ying attended Art Center College of design and graduated in 2007. She has since worked full time at Disney Imagineering and Disney Feature animation as well as doing many childrens books including the Little Golden Book for Tangled.
I studied Entertainment Design at Art Center and immediately began working in my field. I work with the portfolio review team here at Disney when hiring new trainees and I have helped mentor in the past with Motivarti.
Ideal Mentee: I’m looking for mentee who has an open mind, who is willing to accept may different ways of approaching a problem and also willing to work hard at communicating those ideas. I would like somebody who has pretty solid fundamentals and would like to work on idea generation and making things work specifically for animation.
10-Week Plan: I’m willing to do this however my mentee would like, If they would like assignments I can provide those, if they would like to work on their own projects and just have me respond to them that is fine too.
